Substitutions

I just came across a recipe for banana muffins I'd like to make. However, on closer reading I saw that it requires 250ml (slightly more than one cup) of soy milk. Do you think I can substitute the soya milk for normal full fat milk on a 1-to-1 basis? Or should I use something else?

The soy milk I get is always sweeter than regular milk. I would substitute, but if it is not as sweet as you would like, you will know why.

I buy soy milk that I substitute for milk regularly. My soy milk isn't sweet but its much thicker than skim milk. Maybe its the thickness of whole milk?

Thank you all for the advice! A chocolate brownie recipe (without soy milk) caught my eye in the meantime, but it's definitely good to know!

YES! But with the caveat that some brands are sweeter than others.
