I think the list of judges is almost as interesting as the list of books!

First round reviews are in (at least some of them). I am trying to not binge read!

Two reviews of Made In India, and I'm about to order the book. Gosh I love the piglet reviews.

I have my eye on that one too! A Santa gift perhaps. It's not like I need another Indian cookbook.

I couldn't resist Made in India--especially since I had made and loved her Chicken Curry which was in the Times a while back. I also succumbed to Hot Bread Kitchen. My friends have Zahav and we've had some things from it which were wonderful so I was surprised at the Piglet review.

Oh dear. Hot Bread on the Santa list too. Chabon's review was LOL.
So, the two finalists are on my wishlist. A surprising pair, I think.

I have those two books on the top of my list, too. They are a surprising pair to make it to the top, aren't they?
