Pasta with Mixed Mushrooms and Thyme

This recipe is a good example of what I love about the cooking resources available on the internet. Had planned to make the Pan-Browned Scallops on a Bed of Bacon and Brussels Sprouts from How to Eat Supper -- the review of this recipe by MollyS put this one on my radar.

But -- my flash frozen scallops from Costco had freezer burn -- so -- I had a bunch of mushrooms hanging around and was kind of in the mood for pasta so -- a google of pasta and mushrooms produced this Martha Stewart recipe.

Turned out to be a very nice weeknight pasta dish that came together quickly and kind of saved the day. Other than the mushrooms (I used cremini and shiitake), the ingredients are pretty much pantry staples.
