The aroma of the spices used in this cake are hypnotic; they linger in your house before, during & after the cake is baked.
It was difficult to find almond paste in a store so I made mine from scratch. It was time-consuming but I believe it added to the moistness & overall goodness of the cake.
Would definitely highly recommend & plan to make it again in the near future.
