For my husband and my Valentine supper I made the complete Dead of Winter Dinner from the Supermarket from this book. Besides this salad it includes Panfried Steak with Steak Sauce, Classic Potato Gratin and Broiled Pineapple with Rum.
This salad was very good and even hubby enjoyed it. The dressing is delightful and just a little tart from the lemon juice. The tartness goes well with the parm and romaine hearts. Simple but delicious.
