Whole Wheat Goldfish

The goldfish is like toddler crack cocaine. Okay, not really, but there aren't a many kids out there that don't love them. What I, as a mum, don't love is all the crap in them, which is why this recipe appealed to me so much and why its so great.

The texture of the completed crackers is great, and almost like the 'original'. The recipe is easy to make, uses items in almost any pantry and is a great go to snack cracker. I reduced the amount of onion powder the second time I made it so the oniony flavour wasn't as prevelant, much to the delight of my kid. I applaud smitten's dedication to making ACTUAL goldfish shapes...I made little hearts that were still consumed rapidly. I will certainly be using this recipe as a basis to make other snack crackers for the whole family.
