This was so good with the egg yolk runny and stirred into the finished hash. Son likes his poached egg well done and hubby wanted a fried egg on his and they liked theirs as well. All three of us love hominy so I knew I had to try this one. I don't like county ham as much as hubby and son does but I liked the way it tasted in this after simmering with the bay leaf and peppercorns and then how it flavored the potatoes and onions.
