Son and I really enjoyed this one. Hubby didn't much care for it and I was surprised since he usually loves cheese grits and he likes cracklings and country ham. We're lucky in that we can get cracklings in our local grocery store so I used those instead of the optional bacon which I think would be good also. I made a half recipe to serve 3 to 4.
