Fresh Pea Soup

Excellent fresh pea flavor in this uncomplicated soup. I tried to puree in my old food processor - but with only limited success (probably more my giving up too soon than the food processor's fault). Had I obtained a smooth texture, it would have been better. As is, there is a variety of textures - from whole peas to a smooth green background. I like that, my kids - not so much.

I used home made vegetable broth, and fresh peas from Costco. I served this soup with the soda break scones from Smitten Kitchen.
