This was a very enjoyable team project for Soupereasy and me, and the result was very pretty cookies with a nice light lemony flavor. Perfect for an Easter treat -- or any holiday treat -- depending on the colors of the sanding sugars you use.
Note -- recipe requires Crisco or other vegetable shortening.
