Quite a bit of cooking time for such a simple recipe but it was yummy slathered on mashed potatoes. I don't know if I would classify this as a gravy because it didn't have a very thick consistency.

How are you liking tHis book overall? It's probably going to be my next purchase. I've really loved both her previous cookbooks and I'm enjoying your reviews of it so far!

Thanks! I have it out from the library and I think it's going on my wishlist. I find many of the recipes appealing, I like the layout and there are nice photos. I like to try as many recipes as possible before reviewing a book and I think I've made about four so far. I'll try and cook at least 10 or 12 before I have to take it back so you can get a clearer picture.
