A beautiful blended vegetable soup. Very straightforward until you get to the miso and say, "Really, 1/3 cup miso?!" But I out it in anyway, despite raised eyebrows, and I loved it. Carrots heart miso.

Yeah, 1/3 cup of miso sounds like a lot. I'm a little gun shy of carrot soup after making a really disgusting version from a book I won't name. You are almost tempting me though with those five stars.....

You could cut it back to a quarter cup and still get a little bit of that misoy goodness but without it being too in your face I think. I really dug it. Blended soups are a huge favourite around here.

I love blended soups too. It's often the only way I can get my daughter to eat certain vegetables. In fact, I'm going to be making soups every night for supper this coming week as part of a challenge with a friend so I might try this.

Oh man, blended soup week?! Can I come over? I have a killer chilled avocado soup recipe if you want it. Good for summertime and only needs a blender!

I spurged on two avocados but I'm dying to just EAT them as they are once they ripen.
The soup challenge is any type of soup if you have any other favourites to suggest???
