These are good, but much less sweet than typical pancakes. They work well served with syrup or a fruit compote, or, (as leftovers), toasted and slathered with peanut butter.

Chocolate pancakes are awesome! Sometimes I just sub chocolate soy-milk for regular when I have a craving. It should work with any recipe.

Oh, that's smart Lee! I was thinking I'd replace a little flour with cocoa powder, but your way would keep the sweetness in tact. Thanks!

Yup, it's easy peasy that way if you happen to have chocolate soy milk in the house. If not, I'm sure cocoa and some extra sweetener would be just as great.
