Self-saucing. There are recipes for this in lots of cookbooks, but this is the one I started off with and it always works. Just make sure to stand the dish on a tray in case the sauce overflows.

I will never forget the guest, many years ago, who cleaned his bowl, complimented me and then asked for the brand so he could buy a packet and make it himself!
