Milk Foam (without a machine)

More instruction than recipe, this will allow you to make lovely foamed milk to top your morning coffee.

I'm forever searching for simple (and cheap) approaches to give me the coffee shop experience at home.

Here, milk is simply shaken in a jar (till bubbles on top) and them microwaved. The microwave magically renders those bubbles firm. Lovely!

Although I tend to be a black coffee drinker, I love a good late. Using my aeropress to make espresso-strength coffee, and this milk, puts a smile on both my face and that of 12 daughter.
