Indescribably delicious! Sweet with blueberries, tart with cranberries, the flavour of this pie is greater than the mere sum of its parts. I used the recommended basic flaky pie crust, and it also didn't disappoint; it was buttery, crispy and flaky. Though the components of the pie are not difficult or time consuming to make, there is some waiting time involved (dough must chill, cooked filling must cool etc) before the pie can be assembled, baked and, ultimately enjoyed.
