A creamy, cashew based sauce with smoked paprika that adds an interesting bit of kick. I used slightly less than 1 1/4 teaspoons, probably around 1 teaspoon because I wasn't sure if the smoked paprika would be too overpowering in the sauce.

Oh this sounds interesting! I've been looking for cashew cream based recipes - did it seem like a cheese-based mac & cheese??

Yes, it was pretty good. It's definitely creamy and you whip up everything in the blender and then just heat the sauce on the stove. It's pretty simple. If you want to give it a try, I can send you the recipe.

I like it. It's a library book that I've had to send back but I'm definitely ordering it again because I love comfort food!

Good, but a little bland. I still prefer the Fat Free Vegan Kitchen Mac'n'Cheeze, which is similar, but has more flavourful ingredients.

I keep hearing about that other Mac'n'cheeze recipe from fat free vegan. I guess it's time to give it a whirl.
