Easy to put together but takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to bake, 10 minutes to cool in the pan and then awhile to finish cooling. We opted to put the Flaky Chocolate Icing page 102 on after cooling as suggested by the author. I though it was good as did daughter and son-in-law but a bit on the overly sweet side. Nice with a cup of hot black coffee. Hubby didn't like it. I can't say it would be my favorite chocolate cake but I'm happy to have tried it and will enjoy it till it's gone.
