A nicely flavored and wonderfully aromatic soup.
I substituted my home-made oven-roasted tomatoes (minced) for the tomato paste/magic, and some home-made chicken broth for the water. The La Kama Spice Mixture gave it a wonderful spicy ginger flavor. We used only 1 rounded tsp of harissa paste at the end.
We also enjoyed the goat cheese melted into the soup. It improved the soup's texture substantially.
This made a very nice warm dinner for a cold winter day.
