This marinade was a departure from my usual soy sauce-ginger-sesame oil version. The marinade imparted only a subtle flavor to the fish, and helped it to stay moist when cooking. Because the weather was so hot, I grilled the steaks instead of my usual frying pan method. They came out with nice grill marks on the outside, and moist and rare/uncooked on the inside.
