This is pretty much the way I make biscuits anyway but don't usually measure. The measurements in this recipe are spot on. I made a half recipe for 6 biscuits and that's exactly what I got. A whole recipe makes 12. Hubby ate 3, son 2 and me 1. They are made with lard, buttermilk, all- purpose flour, baking powder and salt. I used self-rising flour and omitted the baking powder and salt.
