Crepes with Strawberry and Passion Fruit Sauce / Flensjes met aardbei-passievruchtsalsa

The recipe for the crepes was excellent! I've always heard that they fail more often than not, but these were perfectly fine!

We didn't follow the recipe for the sauce to the letter. For one, we didn't have passion fruits. But we also thought the addition of olive oil was quite strange - it's supposed to make the sauce thicker, but we didn't really see that happening. That said, it was delicious with the strawberries, but generally I prefer something thicker like maple syrup or the orange sauce used for Crêpe Suzette.
