Rhubarb Basil Cocktail

A light summery cocktail - a bit herbal and a bit fruity in a wild sorta way - almost irresistible.

We modified this slightly, using both basil simple syrup and rhubarb simple syrup (the recipe calls for neither - instead it asks for basil leaves and rhubarb puree).
We used 3 shots of simple syrup per cup, 1.5 shots vodka, lots of ice, and club soda.

I served these drinks to my cookbook club. So beautiful with a sprig of basil on top. Many asked for second servings - success!
