These magnificent rich bars hail from Nanaimo, BC, and are in the repertoire of every self-respecting Canadian baker. Three layers of deliciousness. I recommend increasing the amount of semi-sweet chocolate and butter in Layer 3, so you have enough to spread right to the edges.
