Quite nice, but just as with the Eggplant with Spicy Garlic Sauce we served tonight, it wasn't as exciting as the recipes we're used to. Furthermore, the spare ribs had quite a bit of fat, and I didn't think this dish brought out the best of that.
The translated name of the dish is pretty simple: Black Beans Spare Ribs. Can't go wrong on that.
