My daughter requested this cake for her birthday and I made it for her today (Nov. 8, 2012). We all loved it. My daughter even ate two pieces. She also requested The Best Chocolate Butter cream Frosting p 133. It went great with this cake. Even my son who doesn't care for chocolate enjoyed this one. Hubby who adores peanut butter devoured his slice.

Your cake looks nice and moist. Glad everyone, especially birthday girl, loved it.

Thanks for the great review. I've been thinking of making this one and since my hubby loves Peanut Butter it just may be his birthday cake this year.

I hope you do make and review it. Funny, Joy described it as being dense but moist and mine was airy but dry - I'd love to know what I did differently! I thought perhaps it was the smaller pan....I'll see what happens end Nov when I make it again for my son in 9" pans.
