This is the perfect soup for a rainy day. I like the spice from the chipotles. I didn't bother rinsing them before slicing as I didn't want to loose any of the flavor. Since we like a bit of texture to our soups I only pureed half with my immersion blender. You get a nice Smokey taste from both the chipotles and the cumin. Hubby had corn bread with his and I just ate mine as is. Love suppers that are a meal in a bowl.
