The first time I made this recipe I followed ingredients as listed. I had a very difficult time trying to figure out how to make the chocolate curls, but otherwise it was a total success.
Note: I prefer to leave out the pecans.
The second time I decided that I would try filling the cake with raspberry puree. On the bottom layer I piped a "wall" of icing around the top edge of the cake and then slowly poured on the raspberry. I topped it with the second layer and did the same process. I...
