Simple and delicious. This appetizer is prepared by first making a fig compote, and then baking some nice brined feta dressed with the fig mixture. We loved this - it is simple, and would be worth serving at a party.

It was so simple and tasty. And this morning I used the extra fig compote on my oatmeal. Again delicious! By the way -- although the recipe calls for dried mission figs, I used dried turkish figs, and it worked out just fine. I did probably cut them into smaller pieces as they seem tougher than the mission figs.
