Kind of underwhelming. Without the bacon (I used diced pancetta) it would have been completely underwhelming. Even with the addition of heavy cream ( small amount) this is a really healthy soup. But something was missing and I just know there are better broccoli soups out there.
I also didn't much care for the texture -- even though I used a stand blender followed by a hand blender. If I had liked the flavor better, I'd try using my food mill next time. But there won't be a next time for thi... Read more
