I made this one to use in a Rachael Ray meat loaf recipe. The bread turned out beautiful. I'm happy to have a good dependable recipe for French Bread. As usual Peter doesn't disappoint.

This recipe was so easy- especially since the dough can be made up to four days ahead and kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to bake it. Keep an eye on it while it is baking since mine was done in less time than indicated. This is the best French bread I have ever made.
