Minestrone

My MIL actually made this soup in my absence, but apparently it was really good.

Edited 3 January 2017: We made this dish again. Actually, I had somehow expected something rather like the unpuréed version of this White Bean Soup with Bacon, so I was a bit surprised at the addition of the tomatoes and the pasta - my fault, of course. Still, the addition of the pasta (we used fusili) wasn't necessarily the best of ideas, though mainly because we prepared the soup in advance and then reheated it, thereby overcooking the pasta. Using tiny pasta (alphabet pasta and the like) might help with this problem.

Edited 15 January 2018: Nah, don't like it; it's too much, too confused. Canned tomatoes, half-puréed white beans and savoy cabbage? It just doesn't go well together in my opinion.
