Delicious and refreshing, tasting of sweet-tart mangoes with a hint of orange!
I started this the night before as recommended, intending to use the still-set method instead of the ice cream machine. None of my mango measurements agreed with the recipe’s: I had 3 medium (not 4 large) Ataulfo mangoes which weighed 2 1/4lbs and yielded 3 ½ cups (not 2 heaping cups) chopped fruit. I used it all. I'm so glad this was delicious - I've two large mangoes ripening up in hopes of preparing this dish.

I so want to try this one. Still not able to cook but maybe I can talk daughter into it if she find find nice ripe mangos. I have marked a few recipes to try in this book, hoping my leg will heal soon.

I highly recommend this but I think it will only be as good as the mangoes used. I was able to find some that were perfectly ripe, sweet and juicy.
