Ovenly's Secretly Vegan Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies

I love the texture of these cookies - chewy, with crisp edges! After reading the reviews (mostly positive) I took note of a few complaints about these lacking flavor. I added chopped almonds and vanilla and I thought the flavor was great. Granted, I am sure butter would be wonderful, but I also think the texture may be affected, and of course they wouldn't be vegan. Update: this calls for way too many chocolate chips! I used 1/2 and it was plenty.
