About The Store

More than 2500 cookery books for all culinary intentions, plus the rich scents of spices and herbs counter samples from our test kitchen and a decent, communicative atmosphere. Babette's is an institution for food lovers and cookbook addicts. Our two shops:

The "original" since May 2002. An open kitchen right in the bookstore for lunch and treats. Dinner will be created by the guests as part of the many cooking classes held here. And all this in a cozy living room atmosphere between innumerable cookbooks.

In a baroque building at the court shortly before the Jewish Square in October 2008. There are about 70 individual herbs present from all countries in an old apothecary cabinet and a large table and spicy fragrance of freshly ground spice mixtures. You'll also find our complete line of cookbooks here - with a comfortable reading chair and an intimate coffee corner.
