I'd never made or even tasted spoon bread before, but it looked really good and I had to try it.
The spoon bread turned out really good. I took it to a pot luck and it was well-liked.
The batter was pretty thin, like pancake batter or maybe even thinner. I was worried that I did something wrong because there's no indication in the recipe as to what the consistency should be, but it turned out perfect.
