This was really delicious. My kids loved it and the whole house smelled amazing while it was cooking (the garlic!).

I didn't have fresh herbs on hand so I substituted 1/2 the amount called for with dried herbs.

Served with golden spice rice (page 142 of this cookbook), minus the chickpeas, peas and currants. It was a good side for this chicken.
