Cream? This can't really be Indian, can it?
Well, never mind, it tasted good, and would be a good company dessert, since you can have the cream and the apples ready, leaving the apples on the stove to warm up just before serving if you want.
Not especially Indian, could be served any time you want a fruit dessert.
