This was totally delicious even though my eggs could have been prettier and I wish they'd been slightly runnier. I was trying to poach eggs w/o using my egg poacher to see if I could follow the classic technique. Not a bad first effort and if there is one thing I have really learned from cooking it is that that practice makes perfect (or at least better) and I have lots of eggs. And the soup was delicious and healthy. In spite of the name, there is no cream added and so the flavor of the asparagus really is the star.
