Recipe Review
southerncooker from Boomer, NC
Daughter made this one for us to go with some grilled fish and potatoes from the Pioneer Woman Cookbook. This slaw is a crunchy delight. Not one I'd make on a regular basis as it has butter in it but so good. Daughter made half a recipe and used 2 tablespoons butter (amount for half recipe) to brown the almonds and sesame seeds in. She said it was more like deep frying them in butter. Not only does it get a nice crunch from the nuts and seeds there are also some uncooked ramen noodles in it. Green onions round out the flavor.
