Just some preliminary notes, as we're not supposed to drink this for the next one or two years (!):
I'm really curious how this will turn out - probably a nice and sweet liqueur, similar to a recipe my sister once gave me using berries. I made a large and a small jar. The large one contains 300 g quinces (30%), 340 ml (34%) rum and 100 g (40%) sugar, the small one contains 100 g (10%) quinces, 110 ml (11%) rum and 20 g (8%) sugar (percentages of quantity in original recipe).
