We liked this one but thought it needed a tiny bit of sugar in the batter. Next time I would add about a tablespoon. The batter only made 4 waffles and we usually eat two each, so I made two batches of batter so we could each have two. Harold was the only one who didn't care for them at all. He didn't like the pecans in them and said they weren't as fluffy as the waffles I usually make. I thought he'd mention the fact that they weren't at all sweet but I guess the syrup made up for that. He did say after we told him about the sugar that maybe that was what he didn't like instead of them not being fluffy, which the rest of us thought they were. Sarita and I ate sliced peaches with ours along with the syrup and I thought they went great with the pecans.
