Recipe Review

1st October 2010

I was torn between a 3 and a 4 rating for this and went with the 4 because I enjoyed this quite a bit even though I am more an ice cream person than a sorbet person.

As it was coming off the heat before chilling, I thought this recipe would make a delicious applesauce and even after freezing, it has some of the taste and texture of a very chilled applesauce. And I don't necessarily say that as if it's a bad thing.

I think a dark chocolate mint cookie would be very nice with this.

Note: For a dinner party with a cheese course, this might be a nice palate cleanser after the main course and before the cheese.
