We enjoy potato salad and often like German style instead of the mayo based I usually make. I decided to try this one as it was totally different from the version I normally make. Bad Idea! Neither hubby or son liked it at all. I could eat it but sure wasn't my favorite. It was too soupy for one thing from the beef consomme. It suggested serving it with spicy brown mustard and I stirred some in mine which helped the flavor a little.Son said it was too sweet but it only calls for 2 tablespoons of sugar in the 1/2 cup of cider vinegar and 1/4 cup of EVOO for the dressing. I definitely won't be making this one again.
