Thanks, Andrew! It's good to know most of the books will have page numbers. The one I'm using right now doesn't but I checked on Amazon for the look inside feature and peeked at the table of contents for the book. A little roundabout …

Not sure this is the right place to ask this, but if you're adding a recipe from an ebook what are you supposed to do about page numbers? The kindle editions go by percentage.

New Challenge: Summer Grilling
Cool, thanks for the info, Andrew! I think this will be a good challenge for me to get creative with grilling. And I just got a box of cookbooks in the mail, so I'm going to pour through them for grilling ideas!

Wouldn't the original publication be the proper place for it anyway? If something is posted on multiple websites it's not necessarily anything to do with the author of the recipe and it will (or should) always make reference to the source …

New Challenge: Summer Grilling
What if you do up a recipe where grilling is only a small part of the meal? For example I made a soup tonight that had pretty grilled pineapple rings on it. Or if your grilling up a side of veggies or something. I love grilling, but not being a meat…

I meant for seaching books you want to add that are already on Cookbooker. But I see that it does come up with editions that are on cookbooker too, so that works. Thanks!

Sorry if this has already been asked here, but there are a lot of posts and I am lazy! I'd like to be able to search for cookbooks by isbn number. I'm not sure if there is a way and I just can't figure it out, or if it's not some…

Amazon.com Summer eBook Sale!
I bought that one too. As well as Heirloom Beans, Raw Food, Edible Wild Plants, and Dutch Oven Cooking. Score! And I might have gotten one or two that weren't cookbooks....:0

I'm pretty new to ebooks too. But I thought cookbooks would particularly awesome in this format. Especially when it comes to searching for really random ingredients that aren't usually listed in the index, you can just do a book-wide text …

So has the veganomicon challenge fizzled out? I'm still having fun plugging away at this book. It's helped me try out a few of the dessert recipes. I did a huge batch of cookies and muffins for a camping trip the other week. And I just pop…

How do you organize your cookbooks?
I'm so jealous of you guys with your organising problems. My less than 30 cookbooks sit on my kitchen counter. It doesn't really matter what order they are in. So sad!

Future Challenges
Speaking of heating things. A fun future challenge if doing the theme thing works out could be raw foods. Kind of the opposite of the grilling challenge and also a fun thingto do in summer when there's so much delicious fresh produce out there!

I don't know the answer to that yet. But i do know that you don't usually have to peel ginger. The skin tastes just as good and nobody will ever know you didn't bother peeling it!
