Best cookbook for beans?
I love Crescent Dragonwagon's books and she has one called Bean by Bean. I don't have this one but bet it's loaded with great bean recipes.

I'm enjoying the reviews where they actually tell what they cooked and how it turned out. The latest is my favorite - Smashing Plates vs My Paris Kitchen. I love that the reviewer actually spent several days with each book trying several of the…

Anyone made Burgoo?
I haven't made it but have thought about it and even have a recipe marked to try soon. I have made Brunswick stew though and it's similar. Here's a link to tell about the differences. http://www.southernliving.com/food/whats-for-sup…

Pick a book you haven't used
Also adding my welcome. I have actually been trying to cook at least one recipe form each of my books that I haven't cooked from yet for awhile now. I have over 3000 cookbooks most of which I haven't even listed on cookbooker. I would join…

Searching my bookshelf
I tried that but it takes me to the same screen where it lists the book and when you click on it nothing happens. It seems the only way I can get to the book I'm looking for is to scroll through my bookshelf pages.

Andrew, thanks for everything . Good luck with your writing. As much as I'd like for cookbooker to keep on as it is, and since none of the terms in option 2 mean anything to me I'd have to go with option 3.
