This was a very decent cabbage soup. You start by preparing the Swedish Cabbage Soup (same page), which includes onions and caraway seeds. The Creamy Cabbage Soup builds on the Swedish by the addition of mashed potatoes.
I prepared the mashed potatoes with milk and yogurt (no sour cream). I thought I had made a big mistake when I first added it - the soup looked very curdled. However, after cooking for a while, it looked much better.
One prerson rated it a "5", but I felt it was a bit sour. I liked that it was quick (maybe 75 minutes start to finish), it was hearty, and tasted good.
