This is the second time I've tried my hand at making English Muffins and these were by far the best. I don't know if it is putting the dough in the fridge overnight or the addition of that little bit of baking soda a few minutes before starting to bake, but they were wonderful. I like the idea of making your dough and putting in fridge overnight and baking the next morning. Great weekend project so you can have tasty English Muffins for breakfast all week.
I fork split one as soon as it was cooled and popped it in the toaster. Once toasty brown inside I slathered on a little butter and let it melt into those crannies. What can I say? It was the best English Muffin I've ever had by far! My taste buds are in heaven. I'm sure if you were listening carefully you could have heard me moan with that first bite. I know I'll be making these again and again.
