This recipe uses same sweet dough recipe that is used in Cinnamon Buns, Sticky Buns and Coffee Crumb Cake. It is very easy to whip up in no time and one of the easier sweet dough recipes as far as busy time. All you have to do is cut the dough into 1.5 oz portions, roll them and set them on a pan to proof.

I filled them with blueberry and strawberry fruit filling before baking and then finished them by drizzling with White Fondant Glaze.

I wasn’t sure what to think of this recipe, since I have never had them before and I have nothing to compare them against. The finished product was very soft, moist and very tasty. Almost like a yeast doughnut.

I prefer the Danish recipe for something sweet and fruit filled, but this is a recipe that I would definitely make again if I am not in the mood to mess with the laminate dough required for Danish.

The sweet dough for this one is fun to make. The rolls were delicious. We made three fillings - two fruit -- strawberry and apple and also lemon curd. My 10 year old great niece helped make the thumb prints and filled them. She also enjoyed drizzling the glaze over the tops. All my tasters enjoyed the results.

I attended the Asheville Bread Festival with my daughter yesterday and we attended a session presented by Peter. It was wonderful. I told him I was participating in this challenge and he seemed to enjoy hearing that.
