In a way, this dish was like a Coq au Vin (flambé a chicken, or at least a lot of chicken meat, in one type of alcohol, braise in another), but it just didn't match the taste a Coq au Vin can have - it was too dull, too superficial, nothing happened. A bit of a pity, as I love cooking with fruit, but this recipe didn't make the cut.
